"Snow Falls" - Sketch

A (relatively clean) digital sketch of the character Awayuki Himeno from the anime Prétear, drawn as part of a sketch-something-every-month exercise I did that year. I liked this so much that I actually ended up making a color version.

The full, final version of the Himeno sketch. The color work here was a bit of an experiment for me, shifting away from the clean, cel-shaded, anime-inspired coloring/shading style I usually use to a more subdued, painted look. One of my favorites.
